This is an English-first cultural education project for readers outside Chinese traditions. It explains how calendar systems become symbolic structures—and keeps a clear line between calculated data, traditional association, school-dependent readings, and editorial explanation.
The project does not present itself as a religious authority, a lineage holder, a professional advisory service, or an officially certified representative of any Chinese institution. The working visual identity is Sky Atlas · 天·地·人.
Publisher: Sky Atlas is published by Zhou Zhe. Editorial responsibility for the public pages and corrections remains with that publisher.
The short Chinese reading is 天·地·人; its full formulation is 天时·地利·人和. In the English-facing narrative, Sky is read as time, Atlas as space, and Me as the world of things seen from one person's place. This is a brand narrative, not a literal translation.
Design principles
Show the structure
Results display their inputs, rules, and derivation. Terms open into explanations instead of relying on pinyin or unexplained symbols.
Keep the boundary visible
A cultural model is not a medical, legal, financial, relationship, or safety verdict. The interface states this where the result appears.
Respect differences
Sources, translations, and schools differ. The project names its own conventions instead of describing one interpretation as universally official.
Keep data local
Birth data and private questions remain in browser memory. There are no accounts, uploads, cloud history, ads, or analytics in this public build.
Public status
What it does not claim
- No government, academic, religious, or professional endorsement is implied.
- No team biography, credential, or advisory board is invented.
- No chart is described as a scientific measurement of personality or outcome.
- No result is described as the only correct school or translation.
- No cultural tradition is reduced to a marketing aesthetic or an “ancient secret.”
