Corrections stay
visible.

A cultural or calculation error should not disappear behind a silent edit. This page records material changes and shows where to report a new correction.

Summary

Correction policy separates calculation errors from source, translation, interface, and interpretation issues. Material changes receive a dated entry, and serious tool errors remain visible after the fix.

Corrections may update a version string, test fixture, page text, source note, or boundary warning. They must not erase the fact that a previous result was wrong or overclaimed.

Priority levels

Priority Examples Required response
Critical Birth data sent or stored, a safety claim, a misleading professional conclusion, or a result that cannot be reproduced. Block the relevant tool or release path, investigate, publish the correction record, and add a regression test.
Calculation Wrong time-zone offset, boundary, trigram, moving line, nuclear structure, or displayed version. Add a focused fixture, correct the engine, rerun all boundary tests, and update the changelog.
Editorial Unsupported claim, term inconsistency, mistranslation, or missing school qualification. Recheck the source, revise the wording, and record the affected page and review date.
Interface Keyboard trap, inaccessible error, broken print layout, or hidden boundary warning. Reproduce across desktop/mobile, fix, and add an interaction test where possible.

Public correction channel

Report a correction through the published contact channel.

Use support@skyatlas.me and include the page URL, observed issue, expected behavior, and a supporting source where possible. This personal project reviews messages on a best-effort basis and does not promise a fixed response time. The route does not provide personal readings or professional advice.

Any eventual correction message should include the page URL, observed issue, expected behavior, and supporting source. Do not include birth data, private questions, or other sensitive personal information.

Editorial changelog

Meihua time-cast moving line corrected

Removed a duplicated hour-branch addition in the moving-line source, added the corrected 2024-02-04 fixture, and documented the changed and Body/Use expectations.

Term relationships moved into structured data

Removed a fixed “three cultural layers” explanation from the idea article. Related concepts now resolve from the knowledge graph.

Portrait and learning layers clarified

Added explicit labels for calculated facts, traditional associations, school-dependent readings, and uncovered outcomes.

Meihua and cross-system relations separated

Kept Meihua Yishu, Yijing, and Dao De Jing as related traditions without presenting them as one merged system.

What this does not mean

  • A correction does not create agreement among all schools.
  • A fixed calculation error does not validate an interpretation built on it.
  • A public log does not replace source review or regression testing.
  • A public support channel is for project review, not personal readings or emergency help.
